SuperSingles

Looks like the SOS (sound of Singles) mid 90s calss comes back again.. In US and UK they getting ready for national classes based on MX machines with small changes to make them road racers...

What better time for the Japanese Manufactors to build singles again... Im sure all those kids who once raced 125cc bikes would love a 450cc singe on the track as a step to the bigger bikes..

Well here is my rendering on a Yamaha Single (Yamaha already made a supersinge back in the 90s called SZR660, google it...) with a WR450F motor, electric start, wide ratio gearbox and R1/R6 style for this small rocket.

to be honest giannis, the very first thing that crossed my mind when I saw the R125 in flesh, was your idea/concept. The R125 size is quite proper for such a use...

And then Ducati needs to build a Supermono and kill all the compitition off... oh wait, they did that once already. hahaha.

SOS way back when was a cool place for specials and home builts, but it failed then and i sadly think it will again.

but i loved the supermono, the moriwaki, all the big singles stuff in GP frames. neat stuff, but never gonna be a viable class.

the racing business model on the national level is all about PRODUCTION bikes... just my opinion
