We are Moving...

Well is about time to move to something different... it was so fun to update this blog with interesting posts about motorcycling. But life isnt just motorcycles (right?) so i decided to mix it a bit.

MotoGP2

Well seems like the 250cc two strokes bikes have to say goodbuy very soon, FIM, DORNA and Factories agreed to let 4strokes for the middle class....

I feel a bit sad to see the 2 strokers go away but a move like this i think it will bring new tehcnologies and new models in the market of mid sized sportbikes and not only...

Here is something i designed a 4T yamaha 625cc (or 450cc maybe?) Inline 4 M2...

I dont usally like BMW motorcycles but i can see my self owning one of those.

This is the new paraller twin F800GS with a supermoto treatment by the popular Tunning shop AC Schnitzer. 17inch wheels with sticky Condinental tires, WP forks and shock (not pictured) and open slipon.
Ofcourse you dont have to be in Germany to get the kit from AC, you can easliy lase 17inch rims on stock hubs and replace the front srings with a bit harder ones for road use as well as a nice open slipon for better sound all that for less than 1000euros.

I need to start saving some money for my touring motard....

SuperSingles

Looks like the SOS (sound of Singles) mid 90s calss comes back again.. In US and UK they getting ready for national classes based on MX machines with small changes to make them road racers...

What better time for the Japanese Manufactors to build singles again... Im sure all those kids who once raced 125cc bikes would love a 450cc singe on the track as a step to the bigger bikes..

Well here is my rendering on a Yamaha Single (Yamaha already made a supersinge back in the 90s called SZR660, google it...) with a WR450F motor, electric start, wide ratio gearbox and R1/R6 style for this small rocket.

Hypermotard, Something new?

Do you think the hypermotard is a fresh idea? Not really here are some pictures of a Race ready hybrid Ducati/Cagiva/Husqvarna back in the late 80s early 90s. As far as i know and remeber some Factory Cagiva guys build this bike for the French Supermoto championship as well as a couple special events like the Bologona Motor Show Superbikers event and Quidon D Or.

Now just imagine the same frame and motor with modern plastics... Yes you guessed right.. A Hypermotard...
